Let Me Introduce Myself.

I live by the words of Sir Francis Bacon, “Knowledge is power”. With this I prioritize learning, gaining wisdom and understanding. Having this goal in mind I was determined to be the first in my family to earned a high school diploma and obtain a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My determinations, reliability, persistence and positive attitude towards challenges has led me to overcome many obstacles.

In 2003 I first learned how to programmed in HTML &CSS using MySpace. I didn't see programming as a career but as a hobby. That changed in 2016, when I decided to change majors to computer science because the first semester I took a programming course in Python, I immediately found my passion. Since then I tutored in computer science subjects such as Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript at West LA College and USC Upward Bound program.My goal is to have a career as a full stack developer and become an IT mentor. When I achieve this goal, it is important for me to motivate, encourage, instruct and support those seeking to succeed.

Just the way I have been mentored to reach my goals, I would like to share the knowledge obtained to mentor others.
